Rock and Roll Christmas Show!

Well, after taking a bit of a break to expand my family by one, The Vendettas are returning to the stage December 4th at the Sachem Library! This will be our biggest show yet with many special guests sharing the stage.

The Program will include Rock and Roll Christmas classics from Elvis, Chuck Berry and The Brian Setzer Orchestra, along with many hit songs from our Rockabilly repertoire.

Start off the holiday season with off The Vendettas' 8 Piece Rock and Roll Christmas Band!

Elvis Tribute Show! New Venues, New Dates!

Hey Everybody
Well the Elvis Show was a success, with somewhere in the ballpark of 40 performers and singers on stage and a tremendous audience (they had to turn people away at the door again this year). The food pantry was able to raise several thousand dollars and got hundreds of donations of canned goods for the needy. Thank you to everyone who came. We would also like to thank Steve Prisco of The Blaggards and The Purple Gang for inviting us again this year. It was great to be a part of the show. As with last years show, we met so many talented and gracious people. It was a pleasure to be there.

We also tried out a new venue, The Fisherman's Rest in Cutchogue. It is right on the main road in town. There is good food there and a great dancing crowd. We are there again next week, check the sidebar for date and time.

The Vendettas also have shows coming up at Phil's restaurant in Wading River, and North shore Public Library in Shoreham NY.

Bonus Show!

We have a late addition to our show schedule: We will be playing a full show at Fatty Beltbuckle's in Rocky point on Wednesday November 25th, the day before Thanksgiving. This hot on the heels of our unscheduled double bill with The Kerry Kearney Band at the same venue.

Following that we will be returning to Matty T's in Deer Park for Rockabilly night on the 28th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We will be opening for The Blaggards who are just a great band and a really good bunch of guys. We met them last year at the Elvis show. It will be a great show, the bar is the only place where you can wear a cowboy hat or a pompadour and fit right in.

Speaking of The Elvis Show, The Vendettas have been invited to play at this years edition. The show will be ont Saturday, January 30th, 2010 at Hennesey’s Bar & Grill, located on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station. More details to come.

Elvis Tribute Show!

Lenny and I are very excited to be representing The Vendettas at the 14th annual Elvis Tribute Show at Matty T's in Deer Park on January 24th.  I have heard about, and had friends that participated in past shows and am proud to be taking part in this year's show. As you can see there are lots of talented people playing, singing and otherwise donating their time. All the proceeds are going to charity, we also encourage everybody to bring a few canned goods if possible .  You can find more information at www.rockcanroll.org

In the meantime The Vendettas are taking some time to work on a new show, we will still be playing your Rockabilly and Rock and Roll favorites, that is our charter. We are adding new songs to our live catalog.

We will also be heading back into the studio soon and will have a full length product available this year.  Maybe we will call it "Chinese Democracy".

Also look for us in some new venues in '09'. We will keep you updated on all the changes. If you have any suggestions or want The Vendettas to come to your town, let us know through the blog here, or leave us a message on the "hit List" on our main page. As always the Living Room Concert is always in effect.  Move that "whatnot shelf" out of the way, stick us in the corner, and watch us go!

Happy New Year!
