Shake Off the Snow!

I haven't been here at the blog in a while. The Vendettas are finally shaking off the winter cold and snow though it is still pretty frigid outside.
We just started a recording project with our long time associate and sometimes member Dancin' Dave (know him as our trumpet player from the "Large Vendettas").
We had a great winter playing twice at Baystreet Theater (thanks to Gary Hygom) once for our Christmas show and then again for the Elvis Birthday Tribute with the great Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks. Then we laid low.

And now we are BACK!
We have shows coming up in May at Deks in Rocky Point,  Jay and Erin will be doing a preview set at  South Country Library. We are strangely playing the Devil's music in the house of God in June. We also have a big show at 89 North in Patchogue in June with two other great Rockabilly bands, The Buzzards with Roy Wilson and East End favorites, Gene Casey and The Lone Sharks!

Return of the Christmas Show!

Hey Folks, were back for for our fourth annual Vendetta's Holiday Extravaganza! We are featuring an 8 piece band, complete with The Holiday Horns, Mike Ryan on piano and the amazing Erin Doherty of LOLA along with Lenny on Vocals.
We'll be playing a lot of your Rock and Roll holiday favorites like "Blue Christmas" "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" "Zat You Santa Claus?"and many more along with a bunch of Rockabilly and even some old Soul thrown in for good measure.

This year we are bringing the show to Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor on December 21st at 7PM

Benefit Show This Saturday!

The Vendettas return to the Hotel Fish this Saturday with three great bands to benefit "Banding Together for The Kids"!

Vendettas at the Roller Derby This Saturday!

This is the kind of exposure we have been waiting for! Roller Derby and Rockabilly. It makes perfect sense.

 We will be playing at Long Island Roller Rebels Saturday May 3rd. Along with the hits we'll be busting out some old stuff by The Rev. Bring everyone down for some fast paced family fun! The band starts at 7PM before the bout and then we will be on again at half time.
